I rarely paint fauna but this one came quite naturally. Maybe because having a family of four, I understand how much of life really revolves around what happens inside that small circle. The quiet rituals, the closeness, the unspoken understanding - the real family business.

This piece is less about the birds themselves and more about what they hold together. A sense of care, presence and that cozy feeling of being part of something that supports you. Their little “nest moment” - grounded, warm, connected - felt worth capturing.
