Even the flowers look a little hot when I paint them.

This piece carries that same warmth - a sun-soaked palette, rich textures and a sense of heat that feels alive rather than overwhelming. There’s an iris collage subtly glazed into the background, adding another layer of depth and quiet detail beneath the surface.

It’s expressive, a little wild and very much about leaning into warmth - into light, into presence, into that feeling of truly belonging where you are.

From a Feng Shui perspective this piece sits beautifully in the south area of a home or room. The fire-toned palette naturally supports that direction bringing in energy, visibility and a vibrant sense of life.
